The HBHA wishes to advises that ALL new junior players to hockey for the 2020 season will be given a beginners starter pack: the pack will include the following:
Hockey Stick, Hockey Ball, Shin pads and mouth guard.
Commencing 24th January 2020, Emerging Athlete Pathway will be trialing a pre-event payments for eligible athletes & officials under 18 yrs that are required to travel long distances to sporting events. Further information is available on the following website: qld.gov.au/emergingathletepathways
Nominations are now open for the HBHA 2020 Hookin2Hockey program.
The program will commence Saturday 14th March 2020 - 9.30 - 10.30 am.

The HBHA will host a Level 1 Coaching Crs Sunday 8th March 2020, being presented by Barry Vohland from Hockey QLD. The course will commence at 9 am finialising at 4 pm.
Pre-course requirements as follows:
1. Register on line for the course and pay the required fee $50 link as follows"
2. Register and complete the online Community Coaching General Principles course via the link
Cost for the day is $35 per person (catering provided).

The HBHA will host a junior skills clinic Saturday 7th March 2020, being run by Barry Vohland form Hockey QLD. The clinic is scheduled as follows:
8.30 am - 10.15 am 11 yrs - 14 yrs
10.30 am - 12. 15 pm 15 yrs - 18 yrs
Cost: $10.00 per person payable on the day.

The HBHA 2020 sign on day is scheduled for Sunday 16th February 2020. HBHA Complex from 10 am - 12 noon.
The HBHA 2020 senior and Junior competition season will commence Friday 13th and Saturday 14th March. Details of on line registration process, fees, and team training schedules will be posted to this site and the HBHA Face Book page as soon as the HBHA on line registration portal has been completed and activated. Hockey QLD will be conducting a Level 1 Technical Officer Accreditation Crse Sunday 1st March at State Hockey Center, crse fee is $50 and interested person may register on line at https://hockeyqld.com.au/education/accreditation-courses/.
Registrations close Wednesday 26th February 2020. There is two components to the course, pre-requisite on line theory prior to attending the Level 1 Crse in BNE.
