HBHA Women's Master Nominations 2021 Championships

The Hockey QLD Women's Masters State Championships is being hosted by the Warwick Hockey Association, over Friday 11th Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th June. The HBHA is calling for nominations for the team coach and manager. Please see the nomination notice on HBHA notice board. Ladies age criteria - 35 or turning 35 in the year of the event. Accommodation has been secured at the Pitstop Guest House Warwick.

HBHA Registration & Fees 2021

HBHA Player registration for 2021 will follow the same process as 2020 all players are required to register and make payment of their fees prior to taking the field for the first competition game of the 2021 season.
Player registrations are online via the link as posted to the right of the screen HBHA Registration 2021. All fees will be payable at the time of registration, comprising Hockey QLD, HA. Insurance and the HBHA fees.
HBHA Fees (only) for 2021 as follows:
Minkeys (4 - 9yrs)   $100
Juniors (10 - 18 yrs)  $150
Seniors (19+ yrs)    $165

HBHA 2021 'COME & TRY OPEN DAY - SUNDAY 21st FEBRUARY

The HBHA will be holding a 'Come and Try' 'OPEN DAY on Sunday 21st February 2021 from 10 am to 12 noon. The HBHA cordially invites all past, present, new and interested persons to come along and join in our Open Day. All new juniors to hockey will be given a starter pack, (hockey stick, ball, shin pads and mouth guard). Information will be available on the seasons format, training, online registration and fees.
Social introductory Hockey games, prizes, events and competitions will be running. Complementary, sausage sizzle, drinks and ice cups will be available. 

HBHA 2021 Season Information

The HBHA 2021 competition season commences Friday 12th & Saturday 13th March 2021. Juniors (U/15's) & Reserve Grade Men's Friday 12th. Saturday 13th March, Minkey's, Hookin2hockey, and U/12's Saturday morning with senior men & women's 'A' grade Saturday afternoon. Monday 15th March Reserve grade women's competition.

HBHA Sign In Procedure - Eva-checkin
Entry to the HBHA complex is via the main double pedestrian gates  located in the public car park. To assist with check in the HBHA Bar Code and instructions are located on the RH pedestrian gate. Please scan the HBHA Bar Code via your mobile phone prior to entry. Persons experiencing difficulty please see Phil, Peter or Milly.
Persons who are unable to use the Eva-Checkin system there will be a hard copy attendance register to complete.

HBHA Junior Training - 2020

The HBHA Committee advises that JUNIOR Training will commence MONDAY 15th June 2020;
Monday 15th June U/12's - 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm
Tuesday 16th June U/15's - 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm
IAW the State Government 'Return to Play' Guidelines, (STAGE 2) the following protocols are being implemented by the HBHA:
Safe Distance training drills will be practiced.
Parents are asked to drop & go their children for training, it is further recommended that parents'  care givers refrain from entering the training complex, and wait in their vehicles.
​Entry to the HBHA complex is via the (sign posted ENTRY) double pedestrian gates of the complex car park.  
Exit is via the (sign posted) single pedestrian gate on the Tavistock boundary fence line.
All juniors attending training must be recorded in the HBHA 'Attendance Register'  upon entry by their coach.
All juniors attending the complex are asked to utilize the sanitizer provided upon entry.
Juniors will be allocated a training Zone (1 or 2), there is nil access to the training Zones without the team coach.
Entry and exit to the turf training Zones is via the entry and exit gates as sign posted.
There is a maximum limit of 20 participants permitted on a training zone at all times and this includes the coach.
All juniors must attend training dressed for training with their own hockey equipment and a water bottle. The sharing of any equipment or water bottles is strictly prohibited.  
Mouth Guards are to be contained at all times.
Upon completion of training all juniors should leave the facility immediately. Nil socializing or gatherings.
Unwell participants are to refrain from involvement in training or entering the HBHA Complex.
Juniors are asked to collect all their property from their training zone as the zone will be sanitized for the next training, any remaining property may be discarded.

HBHA Return to Play COVID-19 Information 26th May 2020

The HBHA Management Committee have been in constant contact with Hockey QLD referencing the COVID-19 guidelines and the 'Return to Play' directives:
Please find information applicable to the HBHA for 'Return to Play' contained in the attachments below and updated information from the Insurance provider Honan Insurance.
If there are any concerns reference the information provided please email the Association Secretary at herveybayhockeyinc@hotmail.com.
The information will be uploaded to the face book ASAP and emails will be sent our members with this information ASAP.
